Care & Guidance
Our Namibian personnel ensure the kids, their families and teachers feel supported and they strive to meet ongoing challenges.

Namibian tutors and mentors are also available to assist with studies.
Your donation covers everything needed for school and daily living expenses:

Tuition, Fees, Room and Board, Transportation, Uniforms, School Supplies and Personal Necessities.
School & Daily Living
Delene and Trisha
During one of our Namibian visits, two recent high school graduates, Delene and Trisha, nervously approached us with an unexpected request. They had researched the Institute of Banking and wondered if it would be possible for our organization to help them move to Windhoek, Namibia’s capitol, and attend this three-year program. We proudly did!  Both of these elegant, young ladies are now working within Namibia’s national banking system and assisting other members of their families.
Customized Programs
Learning programs and designated schools are chosen to specifically meet the needs and challenges of each student. On average, costs are approximately $1000.00 per child for the entire school year.

Your donation pays for directly supporting our Gava Kids with supplies, boarding fees, tuition and daily living items necessary to attend school.

Gava Kids is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. Our directors and officers receive no compensation for their donated time and 100% of your donation is tax deductible.

None of our donations go to operating “brick and mortar” buildings.
We operate as an extended family, striving to meet the most appropriate educational needs of our young people.
Small, focused number of students
We coordinate everything
Each January, involved friends and Gava Kids personnel head to Namibia and, along with our Namibian leadership, organize these students for another school year.  We purchase school supplies, shop for uniforms and label their new treasures. Transportation is arranged, as well as meetings with school counselors, dormitory staff and advisors. We pull together the resources necessary for a new, positive, Gava Kids’ school year.
